BREWTAL

Sep 8, 2021

Episode 37 Breakdown:

Synopsis:

Things are pretty tame this week for your boys as Todd faces his fears with Aliens: Firestorm Elite and Arie continues his bebopping adventures to Shake Shack for some tastiness.

Some dope Howl At the Moon interviews were recorded and collabs are on the horzion, so stay tuned Hopwolves!

Beer wise, Todd keeps things Cool and sessionable with his Gang at Blue Owl Brewing in his neck of the woods. Arie keeps his Luau local with a Pineapple Kapow from Indiana City Brewing.

Some very sad news this episode with the passing of Doom Metal Icon Eric Wagner, Rolling Stone's drummer Charlie Watts, and some major issues for ICP's Violent J. On a lighter note, some sick corss overs went down/were announced with Quakecon performance's from Code Orange and Trivium, Ov Sulfur's bathbomb, and a match made in hell for Liquid Death and Tony Hawk for a truly metal af skateboard.

Lots of dope releases from our homies in Casketmaker and Dead Echo on the Brewtal Alumni front while bands like Jinjer and Ex-Deo bring the MFN HEAT.

Speaking of MFN HEAT, our Featured Band is bringing Hell(bone) up from Florida to make things violent af! The doctors will have to piece you back up after listening to this Brewtal fight anthem. Listener discrestion advised.

Turn it up to 11, crack open that beer, it's about to get BREWTAL!

Featured Band:

This week's episode features Hellbone (feat. Ray Macier of Dealy Plaza) from Pieced Up.

Bio:

Pieced Up is a 4 piece Death Metal band from Southwest Florida that draws influence from old and new school death metal, beatdown, hardcore and deathcore. “Pieced Up” is a fighting term for landing successive hits on someone with no counter from the opponent, or just beating the shit out of someone for short. We write songs about death, betrayal, fighting and general violence.

What PU are drinking:

  • James (vocals) prefers cheap beer like PBR and Busch
  • Brian (drums) is our White Claw drinker
  • Alden (bass) prefers smoking
  • Sean (guitar) likes to try a bunch of new things, not sure what his favorite is.
