Synopsis:

Todd answers the age old question of Angel or Alien when he makes his triumphent return to live shows with Born of Osiris while Arie bebops all over Indianapolis exploring new places with friends and his significant other!

We want to thank all the hopwolves out there for helping us reach another milestone for the show - 2K downloads! We love and apprecaite you all and Brewtal will continue to grow with your support.

Your boys pick two of their favorite beers from two of their favorite brewiers this week! Todd has found his Friends & Allies with his Noisy Session IPA while Arie found a back home treasure from Southern Tier.

It was a sad week for the metal community with the passing of legendary drummer Joey Jordison. The boys pay tribute to him, and a few other fallen musicians, Nylist aim to break the Beyond Deviaition record for most guest features on a single song, Lorna Shore return to the stage with a STACKED lineup for their upcoming tour, and we're treated to some filthy new music from the likes of Shadow of Intent, Abyss Above, Carcosa, and Cradle of Filth, just to name a few.

We finish off the episode with a deep, satisfying breath as we talk about a band that has been a favorite of ours since highschool! We won't Shroud this featured band in too much mystery, it's just part of the Process.

Turn it up to 11, crack open that beer, it's about to get BREWTAL!

Featured Band:

This week's episode features Shroud from The Breathing Process.

Bio:

Alongside their counterparts in Abigail Williams and Winds of Plague, TBP were the first out the gates in terms of bringing a symphonic, melody driven black metal influence into modern deathcore, setting the benchmark in 2008 with their genre melding debut In Waking : Divinity. Fusing Unearth Oncoming Storm era style breakdowns with Dimmu Borgir flair reminiscent of Puritannical era, then adding the syncopated attack of the likes of Decapitated, TBP had unknowingly created a sound that would be imitated by many to come. TBP are the true originators of modern blackened deathcore and have returned to claim their crowns. Their fourth album Labyrinthian is a majestic and nightmare fuelled journey deep into blackened death metal done how it’s supposed to be. Featuring guest vocals from David John Simonich (Signs of the Swarm), Jamie Graham (Viscera) & a monumental mix and master from Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Inferi)

What TBP is drinking:

"We drink Peroni Nastro Azzurro almost exclusively. There is usually always a case of it in our studio at all times. For anyone who's never tried it, it's kind of like Stella Artois, but better. That and Hamms!!"
